The Organization

On April 3, 1994, at 7:30pm, a group of ninety-nine Christians met Pastor Scott at Mount Horeb Baptist Church, Houston, TX for the birth of Trinity Fellowship to be announced. His first sermon preached, as pastor and founder, to his newly inspired christened congregation was taken from the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter twelve, verses thirteen and fourteen, "Fear the Lord, Trust Him, and Walk in His Ways".

The Place of Preparation

The following Sunday, the first service of Trinity Fellowship Baptist Church was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel where an additional forty members joined the congregation. As the membership continued to expand, the search for the church's home site became apparent. For eighteen months, members gathered at the Ramada Inn Astrodome Hotel. During that time, Pastor Scott received an unction by the Holy Spirit to release the denominational barrier and change the name of the church from Trinity Fellowship Baptist Church to Trinity Fellowship Church, affectionately called TFC, to align with the global vision God had given him.

This same unction led Pastor Scott to the Bellfort Plaza and at the time, the ruins of the ramshackle edifice could not be envisioned as the home of Trinity Fellowship Church so he endeavored to continue his search for the right location. As divinity would have it, God could and did, and led Pastor Scott back to acquire the property. The former shopping center became a 77,000 square foot holy ministry renamed Trinity Plaza.

After several years of faithfulness in Trinity Plaza, God moved, as He has done and continues to do for Bishop Scott, and opened the door to our present home.
